Favorite Kitchen Utensil: Citrus squeezer-I use it almost every day because I use lemons and limes so much in my cooking and concocting- they just brighten the flavor of al lost everything without extra calories, salt or fat and they are fun to squeeze!
Favorite DC restaurant: The Red Hen (hard to choose, I’ve only been to most places once!)
Thoughts about the DC Food Scene: Getting more interesting all the time and cocktails have come a million miles—I could make a dinner of them easily!

Thoughts on the future of food for our children: I am thrilled to see so many kids developing advanced palates and an interest in cooking from scratch. I hope kids’ menus can keep up (thank you, Equinox!).
