PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
Since Les Dames d’Escoffier Washington DC is a professional organization, many of its programs are educational and many of these programs are open to the public. Colleagues in the food, beverage and hospitality industries and other related businesses share their expertise and ideas at informal gatherings, lectures, demonstrations and tastings. A “Salute to Women in Gastronomy” is held biennially for which accomplished specialists and experts from around the country are invited to share their rich experience and knowledge to those in, entering or interested in the field of gastronomy.

Champagne Brunch and Cooking Demos by Les Dames

12:00 to 2:00 pm at CulinAerie cooking school
Champagne brunch featuring cooking demos by D.C. Dames showing culinary tricks from their recipes in the new "Cooking with Les Dames d'Escoffier" cookbook. A tasting of the dishes will follow the demos. Tickets are $70 per person and proceeds benefit LDEI-DC’s grants and culinary scholarships for women in the Washington DC area.
