Susan Barocas produced a spectacular, sold-out all-day symposium, Israeli Cuisine as a Reflection of Israeli Society, at American University on November 13. It brought together the leading Israeli academics in the fields of food studies and cultural studies in tandem with Israeli chefs and food experts.
