New DC Dame Robyn Webb won the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Book Silver Medal Award for her 16th cookbook, the Smart Shopper Diabetes Cookbook. She accepted the award at the May ceremony in NYC. Susan Westmoreland (New York) is the magazine's food editor. Marjorie Meek-Bradley, executive chef of Ripple and Roofer's Union, led Ripple to the RAMMY awards! Ripple was named Upscale Casual Restaurant of the Year and Best Wine Program at the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington's June 22 RAMMY awards ceremony.
