New DC Dame Robyn Webb won the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Book Silver Medal Award for her 16th cookbook, the Smart Shopper Diabetes Cookbook. She accepted the award at the May ceremony in NYC.

Hootie Hoo! Carla Hall is featured in Good Houskeeping magazine's July 2014 issue. The eight-page spread, "A Taste of Dixie," offers a tour of Carla's hometown, Nashville, Tennessee, and recipes from her new book "Carla's Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes From Around the World," (Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, 2014). Susan Westmoreland (New York) is the magazine's food editor.
