REEL TASTY: DAMES DISCUSS FOOD IN FILM
Join us as we meet every six weeks to discuss a food-focused movie.  Our host makes the selection, usually a fiction feature film, that is available to stream and leads the discussion. All Dames are welcome. Gail maintains a list of suitable films to aid the host in her selection. Big Night, a comedy set in the 1950s, features an amazing ensemble cast, but the real stars are Stanley Tucci (who also co-wrote it), Tony Shalhoub, and the food. Two brothers, Primo and Secondo, are trying to run a restaurant serving real Italian cuisine but losing business to a competitor serving uninspired Americanized Italian food.  When they get an opportunity to have Louis Prima make an appearance at their restaurant, they decide to gamble everything on one BIG NIGHT.
